Sabetian, Manouchehr is a consulting surgeon who was born in Tehran, Iran; the son of Soheil Sabetian and Maryam Sabet; married to Anne Marie Le Solliec; has three children. Qualifications: MB BS Durham University, England, 1954; ChM, Liverpool University,1962. Former Senior Surgical Registrar Royal Northern and St. Marks Hospitals; Cons. Surgeon London Welbeck Hospital, 1991- President Iranian PEN in Exile 1996-1998. A founder and secretary of Confederation of Iranian Students in Europe 1960. Winner Florence Jacobsen fellowship prize of the University of Liverpool, 1962. Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS, Eng). Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Edin); member of St. Marks Hospital Association. Formerly member of World Association of Pancreato-Hepato-Biliary Surgeons and British Association of Urological Surgeons. Member of the Sportsman and the Globe Tennis Club.
